Kinesiology/RockTape

What is RockTape?

RockTape is a kinesiology sports tape that supports your muscles while allowing full range of motion. This tape can be used for various conditions, but the main purpose is to decrease pain, decompress soft tissue, reduce swelling and let muscles heal while providing extra support. Kinesiology taping has become popular throughout the world and is used to treat injuries and improve sports performance. While the use of RockTape is often associated with athletes, the reality is that RockTape is effective for the treatment of a wide variety of pain and injuries.

How It Works

When applied over a stretched muscle, RockTape lifts the skin, which accelerates blood flow; this acceleration increases the amount of oxygen available to muscles, which reduces fatigue. With the increased circulation, RockTape also promotes lymph drainage to remove lactic acid, which helps during and after muscle exertion to manage fatigue. These combine affects allow you to work harder for longer. Unlike compression garments, kinesiology tape can be applied to very specific areas that are sometimes hard to reach.

What is Rocktape used for?

How does RockTape improve my performance?

RockTape can help athletes improve form and decrease fatigue through better blood flow. These are the two most critical aspects of increasing performance in almost any sport. RockTape reduces fatigue and increases endurance so you can go faster, stronger and longer. It allows you to exercise with less pain and swelling.

How long does the tape last?

RockTape lasts 3-5 days and is water resistant. You can shower and go about your regular activities while actively wearing RockTape.
